4th Annual Charity Event - June 12th, 2010

The International Women's Club of Stuttgart will host its Fourth Annual Charity Event on
June 12th, 2010 from 17:00 to 19:00 at the SSB-Veranstaltungszentrum in Waldau Park, Stuttgart. The evening will include drinks and finger food, live entertainment, and fundraising to benefit our designated charity, Frauen Helfen Frauen e.V. We are honored to have Bürgermeisterin Dr. Susanne Eisenmann supporting us as our patron again this year.

Many fantastic prizes will be offered during our silent and live auctions plus a raffle. This is a fabulous chance for you to walk away with some great gifts for yourself and others while doing good at the same time. Check out the "manly" items we have this year, including power tools and grill items.The full list of confirmed items can be found on our charity event blog.

All proceeds will be donated to Frauen Helfen Frauen e.V., an non-profit that runs a Stuttgart women’s shelter to keep local woman keep safe from their abusive partners and spouses while providing counseling and other assistance. Our donations help provide the little extras we all take for granted to the women and children who are FHF clients. In the past, our donations have been used for a playroom with toys for the children, over-the-counter medicines for illnesses, and emergency starter money for women who are ready to move out on their own. We’ve met some of the women from FHF and they are incredibly grateful for our assistance and support.
TICKETS ARE NOW AVAILABLE from the IWCS Charity Committee either in person at one of our club meetings or by bank transfer. Each ticket costs 20 euro, which includes two drinks, nibbles, and entrance to the auction. Family members, friends, and the general public are all welcome to attend and we even have limited babysitting spots available for smaller children. Those who wish can have dinner together afterwards, which is not included in the price of the ticket. Please specify in your bank transfer notes “Tickets ACE 2010 (your name)”and if you need babysitting or a dinner reservation.

Simply make a bank transfer for your desired donation amount and specify “Donation Frauen Helfen Frauen (your name)” in the notes section.
