Ever had an uneasy feeling about a friend, loved one, or co-worker’s relationship?  Have you been concerned something may be seriously wrong–or that your friend might be in danger?  What about the kids?  How safe are they?

The truth is that for many victims of violence, the workplace and community offer the only escape they have from the day-to-day trauma.  Informed individuals may be the only source for help.

At this presentation, you will learn what domestic abuse is, both physical and non-physical, understand who it affects, and clarify popular myths and realistic facts.  Stephanie will also compare and contrast Germany’s statistics, laws, and institutions with those in the U.S.  There will be enough time for discussion, information exchange, and networking.  You will walk away enriched and empowered.

Agenda:
19:30 – 20:30 Dinner and networking
20:30 – 21:30 Presentation and discussion
