In honor of Halloween this month, we will be doing a Ghostwalk of Stuttgart and learn a bit more about the darker side of Stuttgart’s history.
The exciting Ghost Tour (in English) leads you to the Old Palace, the Market Hall and the Collegiate Church and tells you about eerie encounters with spooky monks, a headless horseman and two shadowy figures, who still can be seen at dawn.
But you also learn about the checkered history of a former monastery…why there are tram tracks in the market hall…where the decapitations took place…which customs prevailed in old times in cemeteries – and much more!
Family and friends are welcome to join us on this tour, and afterwards, those that are interested can continue on to a restaurant nearby for dinner. There is a limit of 20 members + 1 guest each per tour, so RSVP early to this popular event!
The cost per member and accompanying spouse/partner is €5, for non-member friends €10, and IWCS will be sponsoring the remaining costs for the tour.
